A Whole-House Project
My whole-house project with the Halloran family in Lakeville was immensely rewarding. The work included room layouts, furniture purchases, lighting, carpet and window treatments, paint color selection—and many cups of coffee! When you start as a designer-client relationship and end up friends, it is indeed a great project!
For many years I longed to make my house my “beautiful home.” But I was scared I would make the wrong decision, thus costing us thousands of dollars. Enter Mona Designs. I wanted someone with experience, someone who would listen to me. From my first phone call with Mona I felt right away I would be in good hands. I had chosen the two colors I thought would work. Mona quickly discerned one of them would not work and explained to me why. That alone saved me tons of time. Secondly, one of the colors I was working with was a chocolate red and Mona suggested not only doing the accent wall red but also my kitchen as well! I cannot begin to tell how beautiful it looks.
